We believe the mission that Jesus Christ gave His Church was to continue the very same ministry He inaugurated and modeled as seen in the gospels. In Jesus' intercessory prayer in John 17 He prayed that as He was sent into the world by the Father He was sending His apostles into the world. Not only those who were in the upper room with Him that night and then followed Him to the garden, but also for all who would believe in Him due to their report of Him.

A major part of Mike and Cindy Riches' ministry through Jesus Ministry International is to sensitively get alongside church leaders and churches to serve them in recovering the ministry and power of Jesus Christ in their lives and ministries. To see the very ministry Jesus modeled in the gospels and the early church demonstrated in the book of Acts going on in every church and para-church ministry across the globe. We are priviledged enough to be one of these churches and are benefitting hugely from Mike and Cindy's help.

When we closely observe the life and ministry of Jesus in the Gospels He made an impact wherever He showed up. The religious leaders oriented to religious forms and convention continually contended with Him, but the crowds who needed hope and life flocked to Him. Jesus could not even escape the crowds in the desolate places. We believe the Church is God's only design for a redemptive solution in this world. And we can only present that solution in His love and power.
