General Driving Tips from the M3 Motorway:
Drivers coming from the north and east have to come off at J9 and:
- take extreme left hand, first exit at the J9 roundabout – proceed down “Spitfire Way” (A31)
- go across next roundabout – signs for city centre
- go across next roundabout – signs for City Centre /Bar End Industrial Estate
- go under M3 flyover – take the middle lane
- go right at next roundabout – signs for city centre / bar end industrial estate
- go left at the “T” junction/traffic lights opposite the red Murco Garage – follow the signs for Winchester Vineyard / Bar End Industrial Estate
- 40 metres (literally) turn right at the second traffic lights at entrance to the Bar End Industrial Estate – go down the ramp and the Church is the red-brick building with the blue windows in front of you
Drivers coming from the south and west have to come off at J10 and:
- go second left at roundabout at the bottom of the hill – signs for city centre / Bar End Industrial Estate
- go left at “T” junction/traffic lights opposite the red Murco Garage – signs for Winchester Vineyard / Bar End Industrial Estate
- 40 metres (literally) turn right at second traffic lights at entrance to the Bar End Industrial Estate – go down the ramp and the Church is the red-brick building with the blue windows in front of you
Parking your vehicle:
- park in our car park – at the front of our building drive in to your right – once the 48 available spaces get taken it is a matter of finding a spot on the industrial estate as there are up to 150 spaces free on evenings and weekends reliably – just don’t park in front of entrances to police or bus stations or Cannon Industrial Services (they have large lorries!)
- during weekdays use the Barfield and St Catherine’s Park’n’rides (these are very close by – two minutes walk – cost £3 per day) – see:
