More on what we value

We value following Jesus wholeheartedly and being close to Him each day. We are hungry to know God's presence, hear His voice, know His word - the Bible - and follow Him wholeheartedly

We value Christ-likeness. We want to learn from and be like Jesus - and - with His help -show love, mercy, grace, truth, purity, power and integrity in all that we are and do

We value being Spirit-led. We honour Jesus as our leader and God's Holy Spirit as our Counsellor and the Administrator of our churches. We seek to be actively responsive to His leading of our personal lives and activities

We value Prayer. Deliberately listening to and talking to God our Father. We believe that prayer is essential, because it is our primary means of communication with God. We believe it to be vital to our personal relationship with God and important for serving within the local church

We value being Jesus's Disciples. We aim to teach all believers to believe Jesus' words, obey His commands and do His works. We aim first to grow as disciples of Christ ourselves and then to make disciples of others

We value the God's Kingdom. We aim to build God's Kingdom, seeking the Spirit's powerful presence, serving through the Spirit's gifts and seeing God heal and work wonders

We value the Mercy of God. We believe that mercy is fundamental to all that God does in saving and redeeming us. We, therefore, aim to be merciful to one another and to all to everyone we meet

We value Integrity. It is important for us to speak the truth, deal honestly and live uprightly

We value "Servant Leadership". We believe that Jesus Christ has given our pastors and staff significant leadership gifts and confidence - they aim to give God-given authority with humility, selflessness, grace, care and encouragement

We value the Individual, single or married, old or young, male or female - and we want to enable and support mature relationships in our wider family here

We value Unity. We are convinced that all who belong to Jesus are one in Him. We aim to maintain unity by being kind to all who truly follow Jesus and work eagerly with all parts of His Church locally, nationally and world-wide

We value being Sisters and Brothers. We aim to work together to build the Church through maintaining mutual respect, open communication, determined co-operation, believing and speaking the best about each other

We value Reality. We aim to walk in the Spirit and experience God's supernatural power for real - not just talk about it. We aim also to use well our God-given minds and together always seek truth

We value Simplicity. We wish to do nothing for "religious effect" but rather to do things in natural low-key, non-hype patterns. We desire to do the work of Jesus with joy

We value being Culturally relevant. We aim to develop an atmosphere of ease, and to speak, act, and dress in ways in which our culture can respond positively. For example, we reflect this value through worship music that is of a popular, relaxed style
